On my way to “Fin del Mundo”

…tat is heading to the end of the world.

Next stop Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. Just checked-in at the Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires and passed the security check. Everything went so far good: got a cab right next to my place at the Avenida Cordoba, it took me about 20 mins to get to the airport, which is right in the city. All the counters were not crowded, so here I am at the gate 3, boarding for the flight to Ushuaia. Time: about 3:20 AM. I got heavy eyes, I’m not sure if I’ll set any sleep though. It must be the excitement about the meeting the most southern town on Earth.

Four hours later I put the first step in Tierra del Fuego: Arrived in a lovely wooden airport. Sun is shining, crispy air, wind blowing. Got all the reasons to have a good mood. After a quick check-in in Ushuaia I went to the harbour to check the boat tours, which I’m gonna take next day. On my way back I was lucky to find the perfect spot for the breakfast.

They had good coffee and great pastries — good start of the day. I’m sure they have good meal and wines in the evening, and for sure nice atmosphere!

A little hike to Laguna Esmeralda
